Cristian’s career began in warehouse and production environments, expanded into logistics and supply chain work, and later moved into manufacturing IT. That experience gives Blue Ridge Learning Systems a practical understanding of both the people doing the work and the systems supporting them.

Blue Ridge Learning Systems grew from seeing businesses struggle with disconnected systems, repetitive work, manual processes, and software that doesn’t match how employees actually work.

We bring that practical perspective to custom applications, automation, and integrations—starting with the process and the people who use it.

OUR TEAM / FOUNDER

Cristian Estevez

Cristian Estevez founded Blue Ridge Learning Systems from an experience he knows personally: starting on the manufacturing floor and building a career one opportunity at a time. Cristian began his career in shipping, receiving, and production environments, performing hands-on work that included loading trucks, managing inventory, preparing shipments, operating manufacturing equipment, and supporting day-to-day plant operations. Those experiences gave him firsthand knowledge of the skills, determination, and untapped potential that exist throughout the frontline workforce.

As his career progressed, Cristian moved from frontline operations into logistics and supply chain roles. He worked with transportation planning, SAP, logistics systems, carrier management, process improvement, analytics, and multimillion-dollar freight operations. He later transitioned into technology, becoming a Manufacturing Operations IT Analyst supporting the systems used across manufacturing, packaging, quality, compliance, laboratories, and office environments. Along the way, Cristian earned an Associate in Arts with a Business Administration major, graduating Cum Laude, while developing experience across both operational and technical sides of the workplace. His career ultimately expanded into areas including Microsoft 365, device management, networking, Power BI, SQL, automation, enterprise systems, and manufacturing technology. That combination of operations and technology experience shapes how Cristian approaches custom software: understand the people, map the process, and build tools that fit the work. Blue Ridge Learning Systems brings practical application development, integrations, automation, and employee training together to help businesses use technology more effectively.

Jeremy Estevez

Jeremy Estevez brings more than a decade of experience in Human Resources, recruiting, employee onboarding, training, compliance, and workforce support.

His career has included HR leadership and specialist roles across multiple industries, where he has supported employees, managers, and large-scale workforce transitions.

Jeremy's experience includes recruiting and interviewing, new-hire orientation, employee relations, workers' compensation, FMLA administration, payroll, HR systems, and regulatory compliance.

In addition to his Human Resources background, Jeremy is a certified electrician and holds an associate degree in Business Administration with a focus in Human Resources. This combination gives him a practical understanding of both skilled trades and professional workplace development.

As a Consultant with Blue Ridge Learning Systems, Jeremy contributes his experience in workforce development, training, and Human Resources to help shape practical tools, documentation, and training around the needs of employees and managers.

Yajaira Estevez

Yajaira Estevez brings more than 15 years of experience supporting people, operations, and workforce development. She began her career in the cosmetics manufacturing industry, giving her firsthand experience with the realities and opportunities of a production environment.

Over the course of her career, Yajaira advanced into staffing, operations leadership, and Human Resources, eventually serving as an HR Business Partner and Talent Acquisition Specialist.

Her experience includes recruiting, employee relations, onboarding, training, compliance, benefits, payroll, workplace safety, and supporting both union and non-union workforces.

Bilingual in English and Spanish, Yajaira understands the importance of creating opportunities for employees whose experience and potential may extend far beyond their current position.

At Blue Ridge Learning Systems, she brings an HR and workforce-development perspective to the design and adoption of business tools that support employees and the teams they work with.
