Blue Ridge Learning Systems was founded by an IT professional whose career began in warehouse and production environments.
After developing the technology and workplace skills needed to move into professional IT roles, he saw the same challenge affecting many talented frontline employees: they had the intelligence, experience and work ethic to advance, but had never been given structured preparation for the digital workplace.
Blue Ridge Learning Systems was created to provide that bridge through practical instruction, realistic workplace simulation and hands-on learning.

Founder
Cristian Estevez founded Blue Ridge Learning Systems from an experience he knows personally: starting on the manufacturing floor and building a career one opportunity at a time. Cristian began his career in shipping, receiving, and production environments, performing hands-on work that included loading trucks, managing inventory, preparing shipments, operating manufacturing equipment, and supporting day-to-day plant operations. Those experiences gave him firsthand knowledge of the skills, determination, and untapped potential that exist throughout the frontline workforce.
As his career progressed, Cristian moved from frontline operations into logistics and supply chain roles. He worked with transportation planning, SAP, logistics systems, carrier management, process improvement, analytics, and multimillion-dollar freight operations. He later transitioned into technology, becoming a Manufacturing Operations IT Analyst supporting the systems used across manufacturing, packaging, quality, compliance, laboratories, and office environments. Along the way, Cristian earned an Associate in Arts with a Business Administration major, graduating Cum Laude, while developing experience across both operational and technical sides of the workplace. His career ultimately expanded into areas including Microsoft 365, device management, networking, Power BI, SQL, automation, enterprise systems, and manufacturing technology. That journey became the inspiration for Blue Ridge Learning Systems. Cristian understands that many frontline employees already possess the work ethic, knowledge, leadership ability, and problem-solving skills needed to advance. What they may not have had is the opportunity to develop experience with the digital tools and professional environments required for the next position. Blue Ridge Learning Systems was created to help change that—giving learners a safe, practical environment where they can build real workplace skills, gain confidence, and prepare themselves for opportunities beyond the position they hold today. Cristian's story represents the idea at the heart of Blue Ridge Learning Systems: where someone starts should never determine how far they can go.
